That New App/Platform Smell… Mmm

It amuses me these days to see blog posts from people who are trying out the newest app/platform that everyone else is talking about.

There’s usually a glut of such post when the New Hotness is announced, followed a short time later by a trickle of posts as the plusses and minuses are found out. Then there are either some ‘Ugh, I give up!’ posts, or a few ‘Ooh, Even Newer Hotness is here!’ posts.

(Not going to name names, but I know a few of you reading this over on Micro.blog will relate to this… 😉)
