A Close Shave

This morning, I noticed that the foil on my Braun electric shaver had broken in one spot. That would explain why I was getting occasional nicks and scratches.

On an impulse, I checked on Braun’s UK website to see if they sell replacement parts, as I wasn’t keen on throwing out an otherwise working shaver.

Not only can they supply me with a replacement foil, but they’ll ship it next day delivery for free!

Very impressed.

I can use the beard trimmer part tomorrow to trim down the stubble, and should soon be clean-shaven and scratch-free once more.
