Another Fine Job by Boris Johnson. /sarcasm

I was already suspicious that the Brexit trade deal had finally been struck on Christmas Eve, just in time for some Yuletide good news in the UK press.

Now comes the revelation that the trade deal may have been cobbled together by copy-pasting text from an older treaty.

Hence, the title of this blog post. Why am I not surprised?

It’s going to get approved by Parliament because Labour is going to support it to prevent a no-deal. And the EU have signed off on it. But I have a horrible feeling that this deal is either going to unravel in the New Year, or the Tories are going to find a pretext to start reneging on it.

Battening down the hatches for 2021…
