Capitalism Does Not Give a Damn About Disabled People

Here in the UK, I suspect that part of the reason why the government’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic has been so bad is that they’re torn between wanting to (be seen to) do the right thing, and wanting to carry on dismantling public services and attacking the poor, the sick and the disabled. I really do how that this crisis opens everyone’s eyes to the need for a new society, one that values everybody.
