Are We Failing Families At The End Of Life?
A graphic op-ed on the weight of end-of-life care on loved ones.
This piece hit me hard, as I’m reminded of what we went through caring for my terminally-ill father in the last year of his life. We did get support, but we had to push hard to get some of it, particularly overnight respite. I dread to think what it would have cost us if we’d lived in the US.
