This post from Dave Winer yesterday was a trip down memory lane for me. I remember that hoopla from 2001. In hindsight, it probably represents the start of the hubris of Microsoft post-antitrust-case. I feel Google may be in a similar mindset now, only (probably) pre-antitrust.
