Every time our DAB radio downstairs splutters, I give thanks for my iPad Mini and TuneIn Radio app. Even the radio stations have stopped pushing DAB. Maybe both government and industry will get a clue and let radio spectrum be a commons again? Not likely, but one can hope.

We Built A Broken Internet. Now We Need To Burn It To The Ground.

Maybe we’re better off turning our backs on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc. and taking our content with us. Hard to see how they can be changed now.

Are there viable alternatives to Facebook and Twitter?

Yes, there are, and I am hopeful that more people will realise they don’t have to stay in a walled garden. In a way, the big social networks are helping to grow that movement thought their continued behaviour.
