I made a one-bowl meal for lunch. 🙂 Reheated the frozen pre-cooked sausages in the bowl in the microwave, cut them up into pieces, then added carrot & butterbean soup and heated for a couple of minutes. Delicious and warming, really hit the spot! 🙂
It’s a beautiful, if imperfect, antidote to crop-damaging cold.
I helped make rhubarb-and-orange jam today. 😛
We haven’t got as much growth of rhubarb this year, so needed to supplement it with some Seville orange marmalade mix.
I chopped up the rhubarb, then stirred it while it came to the boil, then again after adding sugar.
5 big jars, 1 little jar filled. 🙂 Left by the kitchen window to cool now.
Needless to say, there was much spoon-licking and bowl-scraping afterward!
